ἀργυροδίνης [ἄργυρος + δίνη.] Silver-eddying, clear. Of the Peneus Il. 2.753 (here app. merely conventionally, as the Peneus is (and presumably always has been) a turbid river). Of the Xanthus (Scamander) Il. 21.8, 130.
