σιγή

II σιγῇ, as Adv., in silence, the only case used by Hom., πάντες ἥατο σιγῇ Il. 19.255, cf. 3.8, al.; also διὰ σιγῆς, μετὰ σ., Pl. Grg. 450c, Sph. 264a; σὺν σιγῇ Critias 25.22: like σῖγα, as an exclam., σιγῇ νῦν be silent now! Od. 15.440.
