Νήριτον

Νήριτον (εἰνοσίφυλλον, καταειμένον ὕλῃ). A mountain in Ithaca Il. 2.632 : Od. 9.22, Od. 13.351. In Od. 1.186 u.l. for Νήϊον. Νήριτον and Νήϊον seem to be the same.

εἰνοσίφυλλος

εἰνοσίφυλλος [ἐνϝοσι- (ἐν- 3 + ϝοθ-, ὠθέω) + φύλλον. Cf. ἐννοσίγαιος. Making its leaves to shake.] Covered with trembling leafage: νήριτον Il. 2.632. Cf. Il. 2.757: Od. 9.22, Od. 11.316.
