κοσμήτωρ -ορος, ὁ [κοσμέω.] A marshaller of men, a commander or chief : κοσμήτορε λαῶν Il. 1.16= 375, Il. 3.236 : κοσμήτορι λαῶν Od. 18.152.

λαός

λαός -οῦ, ὁ (λαϝός). 1 The folk or people of a king or chief : Πριάμοιο Il. 4.47 = 165 = Il. 6.449. Cf. Il. 8.246, Il. 24.28 : Od. 7.60.
