Aesch.; τὰ καινὰ τοῖς πάλαι Soph., etc.:—c. inf., τ. τοῦτο οὕτω ἕξειν Xen. an Act. τεκμαίρω occurs in Poets, to shew by a sign or token, τεκμαίρει χρῆμʼ ἕκαστον circumstance proves the man, Pind.; τεκμαίρει ἰδεῖν gives signs [for men] to see, Pind.; τέκμηρον, ὅ τι μʼ ἐπαμμένει παθεῖν shew me what it awaits me to suffer, Aesch.
