ἀναπνέω
ἀναπνέω besides the common tenses, we have three Homeric forms as if from ἀμπνύω to breathe again, take breath, Il., etc.: to recover from a thing, c. gen., Il., Soph., etc.; so, ἔκ τινος Hdt.:— absol. to revive, Xen.; and in this sense Hom. uses ἄμπνυτο, ἀμπνύνθη. to draw breath, breathe, Pind., Plat. to breathe forth, send forth, καπνόν Pind.
