of conditions or states, pure, untempered, absolute, ἐλευθερία, ἡδονή Plat.; ἄκρ. ψεῦδος a sheer lie, Plat.:—adv. -τως absolutely, Luc.
of persons, intemperate, excessive, violent, ἄκρατος ὀργήν Aesch.: so of things we feel, ἄκρ. ὀργή, ἄκρ. καῦμα, etc.
