Art. 30 ; κράνη X. An. 5.4.13 ; σκύτινον καθειμένον a leathern phallus, Ar. Nu. 538 ( v.l. -ίον ); so σκυτίνη ἐπικουρία Id. Lys. 110 ; a phrase which is used by Strattis ( Fr. 54 ) to denote the feebleness of Sannyrio; prob. both writers meant to pun upon the proverb συκίνη ἐπικουρία, v. σύκινος .
