ῥαν-τήριος, α, ον,
A). of or for sprinkling, πέδον ῥ. besprinkled, reeking, with blood, Ag. 1092 ; Pors. read πέδου ῥαντήριον (as Subst.) defilement; and, in the same sense, Dobree suggested the compd. πεδορραντήριον.
II). ῥαντήριον,,= περιρραντήριον, BCH 35.286 (Delos, ii B.C.), 54.98 (ibid., ii B.C.).
