Πυανόψια
Πῠᾰνόψια (sc. ἱερά), τά, an Athenian festival in the month Πυανοψιών, in honour of Apollo, Fr. 84 : elsewh. written Πυανέψια (cf. sq.) and expld. fr. πύανον ἕψειν, of a dish of beans cooked and offered, Thes. 22 , , etc.; acc. to Lycurg.l.c. the other Greeks called it 10.408a Πανόψια ( Πανοψίαν codd.).
