A). παρεισῆχα Phld. Piet. 32 :—lead in by one's side, bring forward, introduce, of persons brought into a public assembly, τοὺς παῖδας τῶν ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ τετελευτηκότων Isoc. 8.82 ; τοὺς αἰχμαλώτους Plb. 3.63.2 ; propose a candidate for a succession, Plu. Galb. 21 .
2). with a notion of secrecy, π. [τοὺς Γαλάτας] εἰς Ἔρυκα introduce, admit them into the city, Plb. 2.7.8 , cf. 1.18.3 .
