A). not either, neither of the two, Hdt. 1.51 , Ar. Ra. 1412 , Pl. Phlb. 21e : in pl., when each party is pl., first in Hes. Th. 638 , Sc. 171 , cf. Hdt. 1.76 , etc.: divisim, v. ἕτερος 1 . Adv. οὐδετέρως in neither of two ways, Pl. Lg. 902c : also neut. pl. as Adv., = οὐδετέρως , Id. Plt. 258a , Tht. 184a , etc.
II). neutral, τῶν μὲν αἱρετῶν οὐσῶν, τῶν δὲ φευκτῶν, τῶν δ’ οὐ. Arist. EN 1175b26 : so in Medic., of a state which is neither illness nor health, διάθεσις Herophil. ap. Gal. 6.388 ; σῶμα Gal. 1.307 , 311 .
