(?) 20 ; ὀκρυόειν ἔδαφος Eleg.Alex.Adesp. 1.7 . (Freq. confused with ὀκρυόεις : ὀκρυόεις may have arisen from an early mistake in the division of words in (leg. ἐπιδημίοο κρυόεντος, κακομηχάνοο κ.); or ὀκ. may be cogn. with Skt. άς/ρυ, Lith. ašara 'tear', and the Adj. would then mean tearful.)
