μιν [ῐ],
A). him, her, it, Ep. and Ion. acc. sg. of the 3rd pers. Pron. (v. ) in all genders, = Dor. νιν (q. v.), both forms in codd. Pi. (μιν N. 5.38 , Pae. 2.73 , al.), and in B. (μιν only 10.111 ), only νιν in Trag.(μιν f.l. in A. Eu. 631 , al.), neither in Att. Prose:—μὶν αὐτόν himself (emphatic), Il. 21.245 , 318 , etc.( αὐτήν μιν 11.117 ); αὐτόν μιν reflexive, = ἑαυτόν , Od. 4.244 ; μιν alone is sts. reflex., Hdt. 1.11 , 45 , al.; so αὐτόν (αὐτήν) μ. Id. 1.24 , 2.100 ; μ. alone not reflex., Id. 2.100 , al., Hippon. 52 , etc.
