II). as Subst. Κῷος (sc. βόλος), ὁ, the highest throw with the ἀστράγαλοι, opp. Χῖος, ; τὰ κῷα are the inner, τὰ χῖα the outer, sides of the huckle-bones (ἀστράγαλοι), HA 499b28 ( κῶλα and ἰσχία codd.), cf. Cael. 292a29 (v.l.).
III). Κῷον (sc. ἱμάτιον), τό, a light semi-transparent garment, made at Cos,
