A). ἀμύμωσιν Epigr.Gr. 451 (Trachonitis), dub. l. in IG 14.1424 : (cf. μῦμαρ· αἶσχος, ψόγος, Hsch.):— blameless, noble, excellent, οἶκος ὅδ’ ἀφνειὸς καὶ ἀ. Od. 1.232 ; ἅμα κρατερὸς καὶ ἀ. ib. 3.111 ; in Hom. an honorary epithet or title even of Aegisthus, ib. 1.29 :—never of gods, for Aesculapius is ἀ. as a physician, Il. 4.194 ; of a mortal nymph, 14.144 .
