VA 7.23 ); κάμηλος τῷ σώματι κατηρτυκώς BGU 13.5 (iii A.D.); also of men, τὸ κατηρτυκέναι Philostr. VA 5.33 : metaph., κατηρτυκὼς .. ἱκέτης προσῆλθες a perfected suppliant, one who has done all that is required, or one that is broken in like a horse tamed, A.
