Ἰχν-ευτής, οῦ, ὁ,
A). tracker, hunter, 5.10 ; of dogs which hunt by scent, ib. 17 : metaph., Κύπριδος ἰχνευτὰς ἀργυρέους σκύλακας, of money given to a ἑταίρα, AP 5.15 (Marc. Arg.): Ἰχνευταί,, title of a satyric play by Sophocles (cf. v. 298 ).
