A). set in motion by God (κέλλω), and so marvellous, wondrous, always of things, θ. ἔργα deeds or works of wonder, Il. 3.130 , Od. 11.610 ; θέσκελα εἰδώς Call. Fr.anon. 385 : neut. Adv., ἔϊκτο δὲ θέσκελον αὐτῷ it was wondrous like him, Il. 23.107 ; prob. taken by later poets as,= God-inspired (κελεύω) , θ. Ἑρμῆς Coluth. 126 .
