1). Μίνως ἐννέωρος βασίλευε Διὸς .. ὀαριστής perh. at nine years old or after nine years, Od. 19.179 , cf. Apollon. Lex.; Pl. Min. 319b couples ἐ. ὀαριστής taking counsel with Zeus every ninth year.
2). nine years old, of the Aloidae, Od. 11.311 ; βοῦς 10.19 (unless, = πενταέτηρος, ὧρος meaning a season, i.e. half-year, cf. Arist. HA 575b6 ); σίαλοι Od. 10.390 ; ἄλειφαρ Il. 18.351 . (Perh. = of full age, ἐννέα being taken as a round number, cf.Sch.Il.l. c.)
