ἐγκολπ-όω,
A). make full and round, like the folds of a robe, A. 1183 (tm.):— Pass., ἐγκεκολπῶσθαι to be curved into a bay or bays, Mu. 393a23 :— Med., put in the fold of one's robe: hence metaph., 'have in one's pocket', τὴν τοῦ Καίσαρος ἰσχύν :— Pass., 48.52 to have folded round one, χιτῶνα ἐνεκεκόλπωτο : metaph., 62.2 ἀρετήν in EN 603.24 .
