A). again, anew, afresh, once more, Il. 1.540 , etc.: freq. after numerals, δεύτερον αὖ, τρίτον αὖ, etc., Hom.; τὸν δὲ πέμπτον αὖ λέγω A. Th. 526 , cf. Ch. 1066 (lyr.); in a question, expressing impatience, τίς δὴ αὖ τοι .. ; Il. 1.540 .
II). generally, again, i.e. further, moreover, ib. 2.493 , etc.; καὶ ἔτι γε αὖ Pl. Tht. 192b .
