A). against the will, constrained, of acts or their consequences, καὶ τῷ οὔ κως ἀεκ. ἐγίνετο τὸ ποιεύμενον Hdt. 2.162 ; τλήσομαι .. ἀεκούσια πολλὰ βίαια Thgn. 1343 ; ἐς ἀ. ἀνάγκας πίπτειν Th. 3.82 ; πόνοι Democr. l.c.; often in Att. of involuntary offences, ἀ. φόνος Antipho 3.2.6 ; πράκτορες τῶν ἀκουσίων ib., cf.
