OT 485 οὔτε δοκοῦντ’ οὔτ’ ἀποφάσκονθ) is interpreted by Sch. οὔτε πιστὰ οὔτε ἄπιστα 'neither commanding assent nor suffering denial) (but better referred to ἐμέ understood, 'neither assenting nor denying'):—ὁ ἀποφάσκων [λόγος], name of a sophism, Arr. Epict. 3.9.21 ; title of work by Chrysippus, Stoic. 2.8 .
