ἀπασχολ-έω,
A). leave one no leisure, keep him employed, Philops. 14 , :— Pass., 2.21 to be wholly occupied or engrossed, so as to attend to nothing else, περί τινα Charid. 19 , cf. in Mete. 108.22 ; τινί ib. 107.13 ; ἀ. ἐπὶ τῆς ἀλλοδαπῆς to be absent on foreign service, POxy. 71 ii 8 (iv A. D.).
