A). whither one can flee, or where one can take refuge, ὅθι μοι φάτο φύξιμον εἶναι where she said it was possible for me to escape, Od. 5.359 ; φ. τόπος Plb. 13.6.9 ; φύξιμον οὐδέν Id. 9.29.4 ; ἱερὸν φ. an asylum, Plu. Rom. 9 ; φ. λιμήν a harbour of refuge, Id. 2.823a : cf. φύξιον.
