II). to be fain that .. , c. acc. et inf., Il. 3.98 : c. inf., to be minded to do, 9.608 , 17.286 ; without inf., οἱ δ’ ἰθὺς φρόνεον [ἰέναι] were minded to go right on ward, 13.135 , cf. 12.124 ; ᾗπερ δὴ φρονέω [τελέσαι] 9.310 ; φρονῶν ἔπρασσον of set purpose, S. OC 271 : in Prose, mean, intend, τοῦτο φρονεῖ ἡμῶν ἡ .. ἀγωγή this is what your bringing us here means, Th. 5.85 .
