3). to be morally corrupted, ἐφθάρη ἡ γῆ ἐναντίον τοῦ θεοῦ LXX Ge. 6.11 , cf. Ho. 9.9 , al.; ἔστι ἐν Ἀλεξανδρείᾳ σκηνῶν ἐν τοῖς Ἀριστοβούλου φθειρόμενος PCair.Zen. 37.7 (iii B.
