2). hold up, raise, τὴν κεφαλήν Aret. CD 1.3 :— Pass., of the overlapping end of a dislocated bone, ὑπεραιωρεῖσθαι τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ μηροῦ ὑπὲρ τῆς κοτύλης to be lifted or drawn over, Hp. Art. 70 ; ὑ. ὑπὲρ τῆς ἀρχαίης ἕδρης ib. 71 , Fract. 14 , cf. 41 : abs., Id. Art. 22 : Littré (following Apollon.
