III). τὸ ὑλότομον either a plant cut in the wood (cf. τέμνω 111 ), used as a charm; or = worm (cf. φερέοικος), supposed to be the cause of pain in teething (οὐλοτόμοιο may be the right reading), h.Cer. 229 .
