II). epith. of Dionysus, Cli<to>dem. 21 , (in 14 also Ὑεύς, in Sch. Av. 874 Ὕας), as the god of fertilizing moisture, : cf. 2.364d Ὑάδες 11 , Ὕη. The invocation Ὕης ἄττης in is of doubtful meaning; 18.260 Ὕης is placed among ζενικοὶ θεοί by Fr. 878 (cf. ). (Acc. to Hdn.Gr. 7 1.59 Ὑῆς is the correct accent.)
