A). watery, wet, moist, νότοι Vent. 57 (nisi leg. ὑδατεινός) ; ὑ. νάρκισσος that loves the water, (Nemausus); 14.2508 τὸ ὑ. σῶμα the body which is water, : 2.7.2 τὸ ὑ. an eye-lotion, . 17(2).185
II). transparent like water, of thin, gauze-like Milesian garments, καίρωμα Fr. 295 ; ὑ. βράκη ; 28.11 [στολή] POxy. 265.3 (i A. D.).
III). = ὑγρός 11.1 , pliant, supple, βραχίονες AP 9.567 (Antip.). [ῠδᾰτῐνος: but in dactylic (incl. Asclepiadean) verses ῡ; for ὑδατῑνός see ὑδατεινός.]
