Lib. p.40 O., and the Philo papyrus), and corroborated by the short quantity of the second syllable in verse; the form τιθασσός (τιθασσεύω etc.) is freq. in medieval codd., as of Arist. Il.cc., Porph. Gaur. 4.4 , 4.8 , al., Chor. p.96 B., cf. Sup. τιθασσότατος Arist. supr. cit., but should be rejected.)
