τετίημαι [ῐ], an Ep. perf. with no pres. in use,
A). to be sorrowful, τετίησθον ; elsewh. 8.447 always uses part., in the phrase τετιημένος, τετιημένη ἦτορ, , 11.556 , al., cf. 4.804 Th. 163 .--We also find the Act. pf. part. τετῐηώς (in same sense) mostly in the phrase τετιηότι θυμῷ, with sorrowing heart, , 11.555 17.664 , 24.283 ; also ἷζον τετιηότες 9.13 ; δὴν δ’ ἄνεῳ ἦσαν τετιηότες they were long silent from grief, ib. 30 , 695 .
