P. 1, 2, 126: invidia, Sil. 8, 21: arma pro trepidis reis, i. e. defence before a tribunal, Ov. F. 1, 22.— Esp. corona civica, the civic crown, made of oak leaves (hence, civilis quercus, Verg.
