cănārĭus, a, um, adj. canis, of or pertaining to dogs, dog-: augurium, i. e. in which dogs were offered, Auct. ap. Plin. 18, 3, 3, § 14; Fest. s. v. rutilae, p. 285 Müll. (cf. Ov.
