Cămīrus or -ŏs, i, m., = Καμειρος. Son of the fourth Hercules, brother of Jalysus and Lindus, and founder of the town named after him in Rhodes, Cic. N. D. 3, 21, 54; Mel. 2, 7, 4; Plin. 5, 31, 36, § 132. — A town on the west side of the island of Rhodes, Mel. 2, 7, 4; cf. Cic. N.
