(class. but rare): famulae furtim cachinnant, Lucr. 4, 1176; 1, 919; 2, 976: ridere convivae; cachinnare ipse Apronius, Cic. Verr. 2, 3, 25, § 62; Suet. Vesp. 5; Aur. Vict. Epit. 28.—With the acc. of that which one laughs at: exitum meum cachinnant, App. M. 3, p. 132, 25.—* Poet. (v. Liddell and Scott under καχλάζω, γέλως, γέλασμα, and Blomfield. Aesch.
