Bĭānor, ŏris, m. βία-ἀνήρ. A centaur slain by Theseus at the marriage festival of Pirithŏus, Ov. M. 12, 345.— An ancient hero of Mantua, Verg. E. 9, 60; acc. to Serv. in h. l. and upon A. 10, 198-200, the founder of Mantua, and identical with Ocnus.
