Volumnĭus, i, m.; Volumnĭa, ae, f., the name of a Roman gens. P. Volumnius, a Roman consul, Liv. 3, 10.— L. Volumnius, a consul, who conquered the Samnites, Liv. 9, 42; 10, 18 sq.— Volumnia. The wife of Coriolanus, Liv. 2, 40. — A freed-woman, mistress of M. Antonius, Cic. Phil. 2, 24; otherwise called Cytheris, v.
