In gen.: pica, Mart. 7, 87, 6: charta, i. e. a letter of greeting, id. 9, 99, 2.— In partic., she that makes complimentary visits, that pays court: turba, i. e. the crowd of clients who come to salute their patron in the morning, Juv. 5, 21.
