Silv. 4, 2, 51.—Most freq. in part. pass.: acclinatus: colla acclinata, Ov. M. 10, 268; cf.: terrae acclinatus, id. ib. 14, 666: castra tumulo sunt acclinata, Liv. 44, 3, 6: maria terris, Stat. Silv. 5, 4, 5.— Trop., with se, to incline to a thing: ad causam senatus, Liv. 4, 48, 9.
