D. 3, 19, 48.—Hence, Per-sēĭus, a, um, adj., of or belonging to Persa, Persean: Perseia Hecate, Val. Fl. 6, 495: proles, i. e. Æetes, id. 5, 582.— Persēĭs, ĭdis, f., the female descendant of Persa, Hecate, Stat. Th. 4, 481.—Adj.: Perseides herbae, i. e. magic herbs, Ov. R. Am. 263.—Perseis (sc.
