Nŏmĭus and Nŏmĭos, ii, and Nŏ-mĭon, ōnis, m., = Νόμιος and Νομίων, the Pasturer, a surname of Apollo, because he tended the flocks of Admetus (cf. Verg. G. 3, 2); acc. to Cic. N.
