Ninus.—Hence, Nī^nĭvītae, ārum, m., the inhabitants of Nineveh, the Ninevites, Prud. Cath. 7, 131; Vulg. Matt. 12, 41.— Nĭnĭvī-tĭcus, a, um, adj., Ninevite: puer, Hier. in Isa. 3, 7, 16.
