Nāsīca, ae, m., a surname in the Scipio family. So P. Cornelius Scipio Nasica, who was declared to be the most virtuous man in the state, and on that account was sent to accompany the image of the Mater Idaea to Rome, Liv. 29, 14, 8; cf. Cic. Brut. 20, 79; Val. Max. 3, 7, 3.
