lectīcŭla, ae, f. dim. lectica, a small litter or sedan. In gen.: lecticulā in curiam esse delatum, Cic. Div. 1, 26, 55: Scipio lecticulā in aciem illatus, Liv. 24, 42. — In partic. A bier: elatus est in lecticula sine ulla pompa funebri, Nep. Att. 22, 2.— A couch or settee, on which one lay while reading or writing: lucubratoria lecticula, Suet.
