Lautŭlae (Lautŏlae), ārum, f. lavo. A place in Rome where there were warm baths, Varr. L. L. 5, § 156 Müll. Acc. to Servius, the place where the Sabines, in pursuit of the Romans, were stopped by the gushing forth of a hot spring, Serv. Verg. A. 8, 361. — A town in Latium, between Anxur and Fundi, with warm baths, Liv. 7, 39, 7; 9, 23, 4.
