Fam. 2, 17, 4; 15, 4, 2; Plin. 5, 28, 29, § 105; Vulg. Apoc. 1, 11 al.— Hence, Lāŏdĭcensis, e, adj., of or belonging to Laodicea, Laodicean: civitas, Cic. Fam. 5. 20, 2; 13, 67, 1.— Lāŏdĭcēni (Lau-dĭcēni, Cass. ap. Cic. Fam. 12, 13, 4, v. h. l.), ōrum, m., inhabitants of Laodicea, Plin. 5, 23, 19, § 82.
