Amphrȳsus or -ŏs, i, m., = Ἀμφρυσός, a small river in the Thessalian province of Phthiotis, near which Apollo fed the flocks of Admetus, Ov. M. 1, 580; 7, 229; Verg. G. 3, 2.— Derivv.
